Diagrams
Draw flowcharts inside the product and link them to documents and tasks.
Diagrams are drawn with the editor inside the product; the installation does not need to reach out to the internet. The editor ships with the package and works on an air-gapped network too.
- Flowcharts, process maps, architecture drawings: the familiar draw.io editor
- One diagram can be used in several documents; the “where is it used” list is always available
- Every save leaves a version behind; restoring an old one does not erase history
- Tasks can link diagrams too, and show them on the task screen
- Diagrams are included in document exports (PDF/Word)
Drawing and editing a diagram follows its own permission ("Edit diagrams"), not the document editing permission. That split matters on task boards: diagrams exist there too, and write access used to hang on the page permission, which meant it could not be granted on a task board at all. Viewing a diagram is open to anyone with access to the board.
